Privacy policy

Who we are

Mortgage x Tech is hosted by Adlam Innovations Inc. This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit this website, enquire about sponsorship, register for the event or receive our communications. For privacy questions or requests, email ops@adlaminnovations.com.

Information we collect and why

We collect the contact and organization details you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number and company, together with your enquiry or registration selections. We use these details to respond to requests, administer tickets, communicate event logistics and support attendees. Website usage and device information help us understand how visitors use the site. Please do not include payment-card information or sensitive client information in the sponsorship form.

Tickets, registration and payments

Ticket purchases, payment details and registrant details are processed through GoHighLevel and the payment providers connected to its registration and checkout pages. Those services may collect billing information, transaction details and the information needed to complete your booking. Payment-card handling depends on the connected payment provider. Review the notices shown at checkout before submitting information. Our sponsorship enquiry form is separate: submissions are stored in WordPress and emailed to our operations team.

Cookies and Google Analytics

This site uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand website traffic and improve the visitor experience. Analytics may involve device and browser information, pages viewed, referral sources and interactions with the site. Essential cookies may support security, preferences and registration functionality. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser; restricting them may affect some services. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Separate checkout and hotel websites have their own cookie and privacy practices.

Service providers and sharing

Information may be handled by providers supporting hosting, website maintenance, analytics, email, customer relationship management, registration and payments. Access should be limited to what is needed for those services. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to address fraud, security or legal claims. Any optional sharing of attendee information with sponsors requires an appropriate notice and consent; sponsorship recognition alone does not authorize access to attendee contact details.

Marketing communications and CASL

We follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Commercial electronic messages require express consent or another lawful basis, identification of the sender and a working unsubscribe mechanism. You can withdraw marketing consent through the unsubscribe link in a message or by contacting us. Unsubscribe requests are actioned within 10 business days. A sponsorship enquiry is not, by itself, consent to unrelated marketing. Necessary responses to your enquiries and event-service messages are handled separately from promotional subscriptions.

Retention, safeguards and international processing

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including event administration, record keeping, dispute resolution and applicable legal requirements. We use appropriate administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to authorized personnel and service providers. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of the relevant country.

Your privacy choices and requests

You may contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent, ask about retention or request deletion where applicable. We may need to verify your identity. Legal obligations and legitimate record-keeping requirements may limit some requests; we will explain any applicable limitation. You can also raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Other websites and policy updates

Registration, payment, hotel-booking and other external links may take you to websites operated by other organizations. Review their privacy information before sharing personal details. We may update this policy when our practices change; the updated date will appear below. Material changes requiring additional consent will be addressed before the new use.
